This year, Apple plans to manufacture the most expensive iPhone models "iPhone Pro" and "iPhone Pro Max" in India for the first time. Foxconn Group will begin assembling the new devices in India within weeks of their global launch this fall, and the group has already started training thousands of workers at its factories.
Apple's annual sales in India reached a record high of about $8 billion. India's revenue jumped about 33 percent in the 12 months to March from $6 billion a year earlier. According to Bloomberg, Apple's expensive iPhones account for more than half of sales.
